about spike report

Introducing Spike Report, a spiking database to protect you and your mates on a night out. After recent incidents, we realised there was no viewable database on spikings in the UK. You can report an incident to the police, but you can’t view what others have reported.

With Spike Report, you can report a spiking incident but also view what others have submitted. Search by venue, city, or method of spiking. We’re all about giving you the info you need to have the safest night possible - including the date of the spiking so you know when it happened, where and how.

One minute I was fine, and then suddenly I had a drink and I passed out. My friends who were with me at the time said that I hadn't drank enough to have been that drunk/ passed out from drinking, so they were concerned. All I can remember them telling me is that they got me out of the venue, took me home in a shopping trolley as I couldn't walk, and then they put me to bed. I woke up the next morning feeling awful - it felt like a terrible hangover but like 10 times worse. That is all I remember about the situation. I never reported it as I wasn't 100% on what had happened etc.

We had headed out for a friends birthday, I had maybe 4 drinks the entire night so I definitely was not drunk. We were sitting at a table and 2 men came over making jokes about sprinkling something into our drinks and gesturing, although I wasn’t involved I only realised when my friend was shouting at them to leave. We carried on as normal and then I went to the bar for another drink for me and my friend. After this I cannot remember exactly what happened, but my friends say I started acting really drunk and weird. We headed to leave and I don’t remember getting into the taxi or the journey home. Once we got back to their house I was completely out of it and kept trying to get glasses of water but falling over and spilling the entire glass. Then I was sitting on their sofa and was sick all over the floor, (which is very unlike my reaction to alcohol). The next day we surmised I had been spiked as I still felt uneasy into the next day. We also learned 3 other incidences of spiking in the same venue that evening.

Went on a pub/bar crawl and our second stop was Bar Soho. When we entered they had shots poured out and waiting on the bar, didn't clock that might be an issue because it was an event and we felt pretty safe in a group. Had the shots and 1 drink so at this point I'd had 4 drinks and that shot. Pretty standard for a night out. As we were walking to the next place about 30 minutes later I started to feel really drunk out of nowhere, legs got a bit jelly and I was slurring. We tried lining up for the venue but at this point I collapsed and was dragged by bouncers onto the footpath where I was left vomiting and unable to speak or move. My friend was already inside where she apparently also started vomiting and ended up getting taken to hospital because she was fainting and in the ambulance her heart stopped for a minute. She was not tested for anything because they assumed she was just drunk. I woke up in the back of a bus at Victoria station, where I was told several hours had passed. I made it into a taxi and managed to give them my address and then blacked out. Feel incredibly fortunate that we both made it home in one piece. Never reported because we sort of talked ourselves out of it because we didn't believe it could happen to us, but I've never felt like that before or since.

The police told me I needed to ask the venue to review their CCTV. The managers of Lola’s told me that I was probably just drunk, that I shouldn’t have been taking drinks off stranger and that I should have taken better care of my drink. He refused to check the CCTV and to this day I don’t know what happened to me that night. I was found on the street by people who took me back to my uni halls. Literally anything could have been done to me and I will never know.

bought my third drink of the night (i hadn’t planned to go out so hadn’t really drank at all, was relatively sober), drank it and went back to the dance floor but within 20 minutes realised i was going to be sick (which was odd because i’d barely drank anything). went to the toilet and started throwing up and then lost the ability to speak, started screaming for help and a girl got the attention of my friends who carried me out because i was completely unable to use my legs. spoke to a pryzm medic who said i’d just had too much to drink despite all my friends saying they were certain i’d only had 3 the whole night. my sober friends were called by the friends i was with to help carry me home and by the time i was home i was completely unresponsive and an ambulance was called - by this point it would have been about 4 hours later and the paramedics couldn’t do a lot other than say to keep me warm and make sure i was on my side and give me water when i was conscious. i don’t have any memory at all of any of the night past being in the toilets in pryzm everything i know i’ve been told by people who were looking after me but before feeling sick i felt relatively sober

Probably was in the club from 11:30pm to roughly 1am (I am not really sure when we left tho because I don't remember leaving - this is just what I remember my friend telling me). It was a week day, and there was hardly any people in this club, like what is scary about it is that I probably made eye contact with every single person there that night. I probably had 2 rum and cokes, and then a couple shots - definitely not enough to result in a complete black out. My friend told me that I couldn't walk at all and was just falling asleep, and he couldn't keep me awake for long enough to try to walk home. We eventually got an uber and I woke up on my friend's sofa, no idea how I got there. My pupils were huge and I left jittery and generally really weird all day. I don't really know about any of the staff or the security, but I do know that this particular club is generally pretty lax about security and entry - me and my friends have gotten in for free before (male and female), and have never been searched.

My drink got spiked with what was suspected to be MDMA. I couldn’t feel my legs, I was throwing up, my jaw was doing funny things, was having panic attacks, pupils were huge and don’t remember a good chunk of my night, when I only had a couple drinks (singles). I got told that I ended up on the beach when my friends became increasingly worried and considered calling an ambulance but went to ask security for help…when they came over they just looked at me said I was just too drunk and walked away! Luckily someone called my boyfriend at 4 in the morning so he came and picked me up but I don’t even really remember the next day either! Was the scariest moment of my life and I’m so grateful I had people looking out for me as god knows what would have happened! Just disappointed with the bouncers more than anything
